Week 7 Editing

I have finished my editing and here are some final thoughts that I have: 
  • I wished I had spent time looking for other candidates that could have filmed my film with me 
  • Filming by myself was hard and easy at the same time 
  • filming by myself was easy because I didn't have to rely on someone else
  • I wished I could have incorporated more clips that could/would have progressed  y storyline: at the end of the day it came down to how much timing and space was available in my 2min film

Week 6 Editing

While editing my short draft film I forgot to include my video's title in the final drafted piece. But my title's font will be presented in the " Just Breathe" font by kinetic plasma. This font is very childlike and messy, hence representing my comedic short film   For the video effects, I rarely used any effects. The only effects that I mainly used were cut transitions to showcase my character moving from room to room in a smooth ad timely matter. In the future, I definitely want to add some zoom features into my video to create a more cohesive theme  In addition, regarding my audio effects, I haven't added much or any to fit into my comedy film theme. Most of the sound used is "natural" which was already filmed from the regular video. I commented on Aniyas and cayley's blog.  For aniya's shots mentioned that i liked her  Cameo shot: I really liked your cameo shot because the teddy was really cute. While watching the video I felt a sense of happiness Pan shot: I really liked you pan shot because of the nature view. While watching the video i felt a sense of peace Establishing shot: i really liked your establishing shot because it of the rain. The rain scenery showcased a feeling of focus and calmness. Her shots are really good because according to the "Use of Long Shots in films" establishing shots sets of the theme and tone for the movie.
